题目：填充原子气体的空芯光纤及器件 Atom vapor filled hollow core fibers
The pursuit of miniaturizing atomic vapor confined into a Hollow-core fiber then converted to a stand-alone device is highly motivated by transferring the laboratory-scale performance to commercially available device. Hollow-core fibers and their gas-phase filled forms will lead to innovative technological solutions and a platform to explore new fundamental phenomena. As a novel platform of the recent studies (e.g., atomic interferometry, EIT, slow light, frequency standard, quantum communication and quantum sensors, etc.), we will give a talk regarding the accompanied challenges, the progresses and the perspectives for Hollow-core fibers based atomic vapor cells.
Dr. Ximeng ZHENG received his Ph.D. degree at the Research Institute XLIM of CNRS & Université de Limoges in France. He was awarded the European Marie-Curie Fellowship for his Ph.D. and he is currently working as a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
