The presentation starts with a brief overview of Wang’s group and projects. Fiber optic pressure sensor for blood pressure measurements, Fiber optic biosensors, Fiber optic temperature sensors, and fiber optic photoacoustic ultrasonic generators will be introduced.

报告人简介：
Xingwei Wang is an Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at University of Massachusetts Lowell in USA. She got her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA; her B.S. degree from Zhongshan Univesity, Guangzhou, China. She has a unique combination of expertise in electrical engineering, optics, and sensor technology. She is the recipient of the 2010 NSF CAREER award and the 2008 Massachusetts Life Science Center New Investigator Research Award. She has served as PI and co-PI of projects funded with more than $2.4M. The sponsors include NSF, ARL, MLSC, and industries. She has authored and co-authored over 80 papers in journals and conference proceedings.
