报告摘要:
With the rapid development of nanotechnology in the past decade, nanomaterials have been employed in wide range of applications from chemical sensors, drug delivery systems to electronics. Nanomaterials based biosensors also attract tremendous attention. The first gold nanoparticles based biosensor for sensing beta-lactamases and screening their inhibitors will be presented in this talk. The simplicity and high sensitivity of this sensing method give great potentials for clinic applications. Reversible manipulating nanostructures with specific interactions between biomacromolecues will also be discussed.
Single molecule techniques have emerged as powerful tools to study the biological processes in recent years. They overcome the limitations of ensemble measurements and one could obtain the detailed dynamic information without synchronization of the entire ensemble of molecules. In this talk, study of single conjugated polymer nanodot (CPN) will be presented. With superior optical features, CPNs have promising applications in biomedical field. Stretching and aligning DNA molecules on intelligent polymeric surface and nanostructures will also be demonstrated. This study will facilitate quantitative high-resolution optical genome mapping and high throughput analysis of interactions between protein and DNA at single molecule level.
