On 8^th Sep., a commending congress was held at International Conference Hall in Cengxian Zi Science Museum for celebrating 2017 Theacher's Day. Prof. Xiangping Li and Prof. Yaoyu Cao were awarded the first Youth Chair Professor Fund donated by Linji Peng. Meanwhile, Prof. Xiangping Li addressed at the conference as the representative of young teachers.

Mr. Peng is a famous philanthropist. For many years, he and his Clifford group had not forgotten to serve our motherland and repay society, and supported the national education, medical treatment, environmental protection, culture and other public welfare work through various ways. For attracting world-class academic talents, fostering and supporting leading international disciplines, Linji Peng donated 20 million to build award funds for yong teachers in Jinan University, and the Youth Chair Professor Fund mainly supports the excellent young researchers. In order to thank and remember Peng's contribution to the university, the Building B1 on South Campus was named Clifford Building, and the donation & unveiling ceremony was held on 13^rd Nov. last year.
