  Research directionsResonant light-matter interaction for

                                            multidimensional optical data storage

Dr. Yi Xu completed his PhD at South China Normal University in 2012. His research is focused on shaping light scattering and emission from resonant optical micro-structure as well as developing new mechanisms and strategies for high capacity optical data storage. Dr. Xu has published over 30 internationally referred journal publications. Dr. Xu is a recipient of the Wang Daheng optical prize (for students) awarded by Chinese optical society in 2012. He became a visiting scholar of nanophotonic devices group led by Prof. Xiangping Li since 2016.
