Bai-Ou Guan, male, born in 1972, Professor, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young winner, Ministry of Science and young technological innovation leading talent.

1994 graduated from Sichuan union University (now Sichuan University) Department of Applied Physics, 1997 and 2000 at the Institute of Modern Optics, Nankai University, master’s and doctoral degrees. During the PhD was sent to Hong Kong Polytechnic University, joint training, then a postdoctoral fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 2005 joined Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, professor, doctoral tutor, the establishment of advanced photonics Key Laboratory of Liaoning Province and served as director of the laboratory. 2009 joined Jinan University, founded the Institute of Technology, Jinan University, and served as director of the photon.

Mainly engaged in fiber optic devices, fiber optic sensing technology, microwave photonics technology and other aspects, hosted by the National Outstanding Youth Fund Project 1, the National Natural Science Fund Project 2, the National Natural Science Foundation of a provincial item 7. Design and development of advanced fiber optic sensor technology used in China’s first tower tower in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Tsing Ma Bridge landmark KCR monitor ed. More than 60 papers published in SCI, SCI he cited more than 500 times,research has repeatedly been presented and reviewed monograph abroad. Do special reports in the international academic conference of more than 10 times, chaired or co-chairman of the International Conference three times, as a member of the International Steering Committee of the International Conference Program Committee, or more than 20 times.
